Svend Hollensen is an Associate Professor of International Marketing at the University of Southern Denmark (Sønderborg). His research interests are within Social Media Management, Relationship Marketing andGlobalization and Internationalization of companies. He has published articles in well-recognized international journals like California Management Review and Thunderbird International Business Review. In 2017 he published (together with Marketing Guru Philip Kotler and Prof. Marc Oliver Opresnik) ‘Social Media Marketing – A Practitioner Guide’, which is only available on Furthermore, he is the author of globally published textbooks, e.g. 'Marketing Management' (3rd edition)and 'Global Marketing' (7th edition). This book has also been translated into Chinese and Russian. Special editions for India, Netherlands and Spanish-speaking areas (Spain and Latin America) have also been developed.Through his company, Hollensen ApS (CVR 25548299), Svend has also worked as a business consultant for several multinational companies, as well as global organizations like World Bank.
